Many stories say that Chicken Tikka Masala has originated from Delhi decades back; some say it’s a Bangladeshi experimental dish born in UK and most interestingly most Indian restaurants claim it to be their invention. No matter what and form where the recipe has originated we all know that it pleases the taste buds across the globe.
The main ingredients required to prepare Chicken Tikka Masala are boneless chicken pieces, yogurt, lemon juice, ground cumin, ground red pepper, black pepper, cinnamon, salt and boneless chicken breasts. To make the sauce you would need butter, garlic, chili, coriander, cumin, paprika, garam masala, salt, tomato sauce, whipped cream.
Once all the ingredients are arranged we are all ready to prepare the dish. The first step is to marinate the chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, pepper, cinnamon, salt and ginger and keep it in a refrigerator in a medium high temperature for an hour. By the time chicken stays cool in the fridge we shall prepare the sauce, for that we will take pan put butter in it and fry garlic, coriander, cumin, paprika, garam masala, salt, tomato puree and cream. Stir fry for some time on medium flame. Now we are almost done with the preparation. Next step will be taking out the chicken from the refrigerator and grill it on medium temperature for some time. Once it’s grilled add the chicken in the sauce and your Chicken Tikka Masala is ready to eat.
