Mutton Biryani

Mutton Biryani, the very name reminds of the unique aroma of flavored rice and carefully cooked mutton. This surely waters our mouth every time we think of it. Because of its different flavor and taste, it’s also one of the most popular Indian Non-vegetarian Dishes, widely popular through the length and breadth of Indian sub continent and even in abroad. Mutton Biryani is particularly made from selected Basmati rice and mutton, well mixed with traditional spices and other ingredients.

Biryani was very popular in Middle East Asia as it was widely made from a mixture of spices, rice, meat, vegetables and yoghurt.     These particular ingredients form the very essence of any type of Mutton Biryani Dishes that you would like to feast upon. So the check list is mentioned below:

  • 1 kg of Basmati Rice
  • 1 kg of fresh Mutton
  • 10 gms of Cardamom
  • 10 gms of Cinnamon paste
  • 10 gms of finely chopped Cumminseed
  • 10 gms of chopped Cloves
  • 40 gms of Ginger paste
  • 20 gms of Garlic paste
  • 100 gms of Green Chillies
  • 50 gms of Fried Onion
  • 1 full bunch of fresh Coriander Leaves
  • 1bunch of Pudina leaves
  • 2 Lemon as and when required
  • ¼ cup of Curd
  • 1/4 kg of pure Ghee

    Before Making of Mutton Biryani, one need to wash the mutton and then grind green chillies, ginger, garlic, spices, fried onion, into a mixture, later add the required mutton into it. Then add curd in 2litres of water. Later add the semi-cooked rice and spread it on the meat with mixture of spices as a layer. Thus, your delicious Mutton Biryani is ready.
