  • One cup sugar
  • One tablespoon lime juice
  • One teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Two cups fresh mango
  • Two cups light cream
  • Two cups whole milk

    Cut the mango into bite-sized pieces. Then, stir in half cup of sugar. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator overnight. Heat a saucepan over medium-low to low temperature and boil the mango pieces with the sugar syrup. Cook it for 5 minutes and then keep it aside. Then, puree the mixture in a food processor.



    Add lime juice and process once more. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for an hour. Boil the cream and milk and then cool. Add chilled mango, vanilla extract and remaining half cup sugar. Cool it in an ice cream maker and when frozen, put the ice cream in a plastic container. Your Mango Ice Cream is prepared!
