The shrimp should be washed and de-veined properly. Then clean clean the shrimp and remove the shells, the residue is the part that is to be used. After slight rinsing the shrimp you can start the cooking. Both wet mix and dry mix can be used for making Fried Shrimps. The ingredients needed for each are as follows:
Wet Mix: 2 eggs, 1tbs. Creole Seasoning, 2/3 cup of milk, ½ tsp. onion powder, ½ tsp. of garlic powder, 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, 1 tsp. hot sauce. All the ingredients are then to be mixed and then should be marinated for 30 minutes.
If you are thinking About Cooking with the Dry Mix, then use 2 cups of flour or busquick, 2 tbs. Creole Seasoning, ¾ cup cornstarch, ½ tsp. salt, ½ tsp. cayenne, ½ tsp. black pepper, 1 tbs. Dried parsley, 1 tsp. lemon and pepper seasoning.
Peanut oil is to be used while frying, and the shrimp is to be fried at 375 degree Fahrenheit. After frying, garnish it and serve.
