Tiramisu

The sumptuous Italian cuisines are renowned all over the world. Pastas, macaronis and pizzas are the most popular Italian cuisines. The Italian desserts are also world-famous. Tiramisu is arguably one of the best Italian desserts that can be prepared even in your home, without much trouble. There is a special way of preparing Tiramisu, the unique Italian delicacy.

The following ingredients are required for the preparation of Tiramisu:

  • Boiled Water
  • Coffee Powder (preferably instant coffee)
  • Powdered Chocolate
  • Biscuits with sugar coating
  • Mascarpone cheese - 2 packages and
  • Condensed milk- 1 can

  • How To Prepare Tiramisu:

Take a medium sized bowl. Pour the condensed milk into it. Now add the mascarpone cheese in the bowl and mix it with the milk. Take a small sized bowl and add quarter cup hot boiling water in it. In that boiling water add 1 tablespoon of instant coffee. Cool them for about 5 minutes. Now comes the part of moistening the sugarcoated biscuits in the coffee.

You can do that by dipping the biscuits in the solution of coffee and water. After the biscuits get moistened, put them in the form of a layer over a large size ovenproof dish. The cream that has been prepared using the mascarpone cheese and condensed milk is then spread over the biscuits. Another layer of the biscuits are laid over that and then again the layer of cream is spread. In a sieve take the chocolate powder and gently sprinkle it on the top of the dish. Put the biscuits in refrigerator for about 50 minutes. Enjoy a delicious helping of Tiramisu.
