Chili Con Carne

Mexican Non- Vegetarian Dishes are so delicious that even discussions About Cooking the Non- Vegetarian Dishes of Mexico will make anyone's mouth water. Among the long list of deliciously tasteful Mexican dishes, one of the most favored food item is Chili Con Carne. Mexican Chili Con Carne is very often known to be as 'chili'. It is a heavily spicy dish, that looks very much like stew. There is one basic preparation of Chili Con Carne. But, many variations have been observed in the preparation of Mexico Chili Con Carne. The variations are either due to difference of geographical location or due to personal preference. It has been seen that in some places some extra ingredients are added to the natural ingredients of this preparation.
First gather the ingredients that you will need to prepare Chili Con Carne. Here is the list of the ingredients given for your convenience:
  • One pound ground beef
  • One table spoon fat
  • One piece of onion
  • Three tomatoes
  • One table spoon of flour
  • Half cup of rice
  • One table spoon o chili powder
  • Salt – to taste
  • Paprika
  • Kidney beans




To begin the process of cooking Chili Con Carne, put the meat in a saucepan. Add onion and fat to the meat and mix it well. Cook the mixture and stir simultaneously, till the meat turns brown. Do not stop stirring for, if you stop stirring, the meat will stick to the pan creating a trouble. After a while, add the tomatoes and flour and then, mix them well. Now, pour the remaining ingredients and cook for not more than one minute or two. Then, mix all the ingredients including the meat and the spices, and cook the whole mixture till it is boiled. Cover the pan when the mixture is boiling. Bake for almost two hours, and the Chili Con Carne is ready.
