Thai Iced Tea

Beverages like Thai Iced Tea is a relished drink in Thailand and is includes among the most popular international cuisines. In the hot humid climate of Thailand, a tall glass of any of your favorite drink is the best way to energize. A glass of Thai Iced Tea works wonders on a tired mind and body and gives you an instant boost of energy. This easy to prepare drink is available at most Thai restaurants and food joints in various parts of the world. Thai Iced Tea is also known as Cha Yen and besides people of Thailand; tea lovers everywhere enjoy a glass of this refreshing concoction.

The main ingredient used in Thai Iced Tea includes condensed milk. The other ingredients are 2 table spoons of Thai Kitchen tea leaves, one cup of water, four table spoons of sugar, ¼ cup of unsweetened condensed milk, and crushed ice or iced cubes.
Depending upon your taste you can also add one table spoon milk, fresh cream or soy milk to your favorite iced tea from Thailand. Method of preparation includes boiling water in a pot with tea leaves. Then strain the tea leaves and blend it with condensed milk and sugar. Stir the sugar well with the tea and condensed milk till it blends completely.



It is now time to serve the Thai Iced Tea in a tall glass with crushed ice. The preparation time is less than 5 minutes and makes of an ideal drink after a hot and tiring day.
