Thai Stuffed Crab

If you like spicy and munchy then the Thai Stuffed Crab is just perfect for you. Crabs are favourite in every Thai household. Delicious in taste and with a hint of seafood, Thai Stuffed Crab will make your party more happening. This snack makes for a great appetizer and can also be eaten as an accompaniment with other main courses. Most Thai foods are among the popular international cuisines that are enjoyed by people both from the east and the west. You will not only enjoy having this tasty dish but preparing this is equally enjoyable. You won't believe just how delectable this dish can be until you make it yourself! The key ingredients for Thai Stuffed Crab are one large eating crab, 70 grams pork mince, soy sauce, garlic, black peppercorns, coriander root, chopped spring onions, one egg, 4 tablespoons of oil, and half teaspoons breadcrumbs.
Preparing the Thai Stuffed Crab include first cleaning the crab, remove the legs and take out the crab meat from the shell. Clean the shell, mix together the crab meat and pork mince and then crush garlic with peppercorns and coriander roots add it to the crab and pork mix. To this mixture add an egg, soy sauce, spring onions and blend them all together. The next step in preparing Thai Stuffed Crab involves stuffing the crab shell with the mixture and steaming it for 10 minutes. In a frying pan put oil and place it on medium heat. Cover the exposed part of the stuffing in the crab shell with the breadcrumbs and fry this for 2 minutes with meat side facing down. Lastly garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with a bowl of dipping sauce. A lot of things about cooking in Thailand are different from the methods used in the west.

This simple yet lip smacking dish has that distinguishing Thai flavor – a perfect equilibrium of spice, sweet, sour and salt. Innovations are always welcome in a Thai kitchen. You can use some fresh cream in the stuffing of the Thai Stuffed Crab and can also garnish the dish with fresh cream along with few cherries that will make the dish more delectable and appetizing. You are ready with a Thai preparation best described as tastebud-tantalizing!
